Setting Your Intentions for the Year

Yesterday our family sat down together to set intentions for the year. Some were work and school related, others were more personal. Then we went around the table and each shared what we wrote. Together we complimented each other on the things we selected and added suggestions and comments on expanding what we each wrote. 

I find sharing my intentions, strategy or goals with others helps hold me more accountable and helps me stick to the plans, knowing someone else is “watching” and cheering for you, helps when you’re not feeling like doing something you need to do.

Improving Our Website in 2025

Like you,  I’m sure, I made notes about our website in my 2025 intentions. 

For me, this year is all about streamlining our services and better communicating what sets us apart from the other website designers and website developers out there. 

For you, it’s probably not that different. I’ve found other business owners also tend to not prioritize their website, they’re focused on their clients! 

And, that’s great, as long as the leads keep coming in. 

For us they have, for you they probably have too. But, that doesn’t mean we should be complacent. That means, it’s the perfect time to make the change and create a brand new website! 

Looking at the Past to Inform a Brand New Website

Since starting Creare in 2012 I’ve kept notes on each of the projects we’ve completed. The clients I’ve loved working for (and still do!) and the clients that, well I was happy to see go, we weren’t a match (because not everyone is)! We’ve learned the type of projects that Nic and I both enjoy working on, and especially in the past couple of years, we’ve started to learn how to schedule ourselves so we don’t burn out! 

So, this year I’m taking everything I’ve learned and I’m implementing it in our business and on our brand new website. We’re going to streamline, we’re going to work efficiently, and we’re going to help you do the same!
