Pier 88 Investment Partners is a San Francisco-based asset management firm established in October 2013. Their mission is to provide investors with above-market returns through investments in public equities and convertible bonds. They came to us to help them revamp their website. They had one which looked alright, however no one at the firm was able to log into the back-end and edit it. There were also issues with how it displayed on mobile devices, and how it was tagged in the back-end to be searched.

Pier 88 had several goals for their new website:

• To be able to edit the website when they had new information to share
• To be able to post news articles of interest to their clients
• To offer a login area for their clients to get important information
• To have a website that was modern, clean, simple and worked well on all devices

We reviewed all of Pier 88’s current marketing materials to understand their audience and their current branding. We then selected imagery that fit with their branding, and designed a website using the content on their current website, as well as creating a place for the new sections they wanted to add (news & client login). We built a password protected area for their client login and loaded in a couple news articles for them to get started.

We built an on-brand, simple and clean website that is optimized for viewing on all devices as well as tagged in the back-end so potential new clients can find their services. The website is easily editable by them, and allows them to post the latest information in both a public and a private format.
